Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to evolve our HR technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday and related HR platforms. This role sits within the Human Resources department in Omaha, NE serving as the strategic bridge between HR business leaders, end users, and technology delivery teams.

The Senior Product Owner will prioritize work, manage the product backlog, and drive delivery of solutions that enhance the employee experience and enable HR operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5-7+ years in Product Ownership/Management or Agile leadership roles.
• Experience leading technology products in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with product roadmaps, backlogs, Sprint/Release planning.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally or similar tools.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: champion the product roadmap for HR tech with Workday focus.
• Product Backlog & Prioritization: own backlog, define requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Agile Delivery & Release Management: lead HR tech releases and sprint activities.
• Stakeholder Partnership & Communication: liaise between HR, partners, and HRIS.
• Product Innovation: collaborate on enhancements and vendor-driven improvements.
• Project Management: manage large cross-functional HR projects.
