Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst I to specialize in Workday HCM and ADP payroll within the Enterprise Information Systems team. You will deliver HRIS solutions, reports, and data analysis across HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT, reporting to the Manager of EIS.

Responsibilities include leading design and maintenance of HR systems, building dashboards, and driving process automation, with the potential for equity and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' Workday HCM administration experience
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience (9+ years total)
• Strong background in HR, recruitment, payroll, and collaboration tools
• Experience drafting HRIS documentation and specifications
• Experience with Workday development tools (Workday Studio, calculated fields, Workday Extend)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of HR systems, collaborating closely with HR, Finance, EIS, IT, and vendors.
• Develop, configure, and deliver insightful reports and dashboards to provide key data and business insights.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization to drive business outcomes.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across integrated applications through analysis, documentation, and swift resolution of issues.
• Design and execute system tests, respond to user reports, diagnose, and resolve issues.
• Work with benefit vendors to troubleshoot the integration failures.
