Job summary

The Farmer's Dog in New York, NY seeks a Senior HRIS Analyst to own day-to-day Workday BAU, configure and test HRIS enhancements, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize HR systems and processes.

You will maintain data integrity, support Open Enrollment and Workday releases, and develop reports while adhering to SOX and privacy standards in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of HR process/system improvement experience, with at least 2 years hands-on Workday HRIS implementations or post-production support.
• Experience running BAU activities like Open Enrollment, Workday Releases, Handbook changes, or annual schedule refreshes.
• Updating business processes, configuring the tool (plans, groups, notifications, templates, etc.), and building complex calculated fields/reports.
• Understanding of SOX principles and compliance.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, AI tools, and Google Suite; able to navigate multiple data sources and systems.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment; proactive self-starter with curiosity.
• Owner mindset, excellent problem-solving and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Owns the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep (BAU) of the Workday environment.
• Responsible for configuration and testing of BAU (OE, Release, scheduled processes), enhancements, and break/fixes to the HRIS platform.
• Collaborate with Humans, Business Systems, IT, Finance and other cross-functional groups to gather, document, implement, and optimize business requirements and systems/processes.
• Create and maintain process documents and training materials for all Humans systems; provide technical support and guidance.
• Continuously identify areas for automation and improve operational efficiency and security.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity with validation processes and audits.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and data security standards; implement safeguards for sensitive HR data.
• Design and develop advanced custom reports for business users and leadership.
