Job summary

Bank of Marin is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR team in Novato, CA, with options for the corporate or regional office. The role delivers employee relations support, talent management and organizational effectiveness across designated business groups.

You will partner with leaders to implement HR strategies, manage recruitment processes, and align HR programs with business goals while ensuring legal compliance and best practices across the Bank.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of human resource management methods and practices.
• Knowledge of various interviewing techniques.
• Current knowledge of California and federal labor laws, rules and regulations related to employment practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS systems and other Human Resource applications.
• Advanced skills operating a personal computer including word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
• Ability to attend early morning and evening meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for leadership and staff within designated business groups.
• Partner with leadership to develop and execute plans for organizational design, talent development and employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with state, city and federal laws and Bank policies across HR activities.
• Guide salary planning, merit increases and other compensation changes in line with pay-for-performance.
• Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data.
