Job summary

Westlake is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to lead site-level HR initiatives at the Deer Park epoxy plant, including performance management, employee relations, and labor relations.

The role supports management in policy implementation, training programs, and workforce planning, with a focus on both union and non-union employees and ensuring compliant payroll and benefits administration.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of progressive HR experience including compensation, performance, talent and labor relations.
• Three+ years of HR experience at an industrial/manufacturing facility.
• TWIC card is required.
• Background screening, including motor vehicle record, drug testing and pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Counsel leadership on HR policies, benefits, employee relations and performance issues.
• Assist with recruitment, screening, interviewing, hiring and promotion processes.
• Advise on employee relations issues, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Participate in labor relations activities, manage grievances and assist with contract negotiations.
• Coordinate orientation, training and development for salaried employees; oversee performance and talent reviews.
• Develop and execute employee development plans and succession planning.
