Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation in Deer Park, TX seeks a Senior HR Business Partner to lead site-level HR activities for the epoxy plant. You will guide performance management, resolve employee issues, enforce policies, and partner with managers on labor relations and talent development.

You will also oversee compensation processes, payroll coordination, and training programs, while supporting the union relationship and ensuring compliant HR operations at the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in HR.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• TWIC credential required and background checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Counsel leaders and employees on HR policies, benefits, and interpersonal issues.
• Administer employment practices and assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and promotion.
• Advise on employee relations, complaints, discipline, and fair termination processes.
• Participate in labor relations activities, manage grievances, and assist with contract negotiations.
• Coordinate orientation, training, and development programs; oversee performance and talent reviews.
• Support development plans and succession planning for future leaders.
