Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support Directors in the Specialists & Partners organization. The role focuses on talent strategy, organizational design, leadership development, and workforce planning across a global, sales‑driven workforce.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive performance management, compensation cycles, succession planning, and inclusion initiatives, using data to deliver business impact and coaching for leadership effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HRM or related field is required.
Experience as HR generalist and knowledge of HR theory, performance appraisal, and staff development.
Experience with MS Office tools and HR Information Systems.

Responsibilities

Coaches and consults on organizational design and management issues, influencing decision-making processes.
Manages lifecycle HR programs: performance, compensation cycles, talent management; assesses performance, identifies gaps, proposes solutions.
Implements employee engagement strategies to foster an environment based on respect and values.
Streamlines processes to create speed, efficiency, and agility within the organization.
Leads change management around culture and process evolution.
Promotes diversity and inclusion in talent attraction, development and retention.
Ensures HR programs are consistently applied and improved.
Manages day-to-day employee relations with HRP team and leaders per local law.
Collaborates to execute recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives and internal mobility.
