Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in HR, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial or Labor Relations or related field.
• Minimum 12 years related experience, including at least six years in a management or project manager role in a large organization.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing a professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, review, and execution of HR strategies for the agency and align with Agency business strategies.
• Lead the LIRR HRBP team to translate enterprise HR strategies to the Agency and oversee recruitment and succession planning.
• Advise senior management and partner with leaders to ensure policy compliance and effective HR programs.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with department leads to support workforce planning and organizational design.
