Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Principal HR Business Partner to serve as an embedded partner to a senior leadership team, translating strategy into talent and organizational decisions.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in HR partnering directly with executives on business results, building high-performing teams and leading change
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Human Resources-related field preferred), or equivalent work experience
• Strong business acumen: able to interpret financial performance, learn business objectives quickly, and translate both into talent and org decisions that influence business outcomes
• AI fluency and an experimentation mindset: you actively use AI to make your own work more effective and efficient, and help the leaders and teams you partner with do the same
• Experience building an annual org strategy and talent plan with clear priorities and actions that result in highly engaged people in the best possible roles
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with direct ownership of interpreting data and using it to influence decisions; experience in consulting, strategy, or similarly analytical environments is a plus
• Experience framing organizational design options that accelerate speed and reduce friction in getting work done
• Experience diagnosing and building leadership team capability at senior levels, with courage and candor
• Track record leading change and building change leadership capability in others

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to shape talent plans and in-year priorities
• Identify skills and capabilities needed and build hiring, development, and retention plans with AI-first rubrics
• Frame org design options and lead change management to implement them
• Coach senior leaders and strengthen leadership-team effectiveness
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, and People Analytics
• Use AI tools and data to spot trends and drive engagement and mobility improvements
