Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale HR initiatives from planning through implementation and benefits realization.

You will partner with executive sponsors, HR leaders, and technology teams to drive complex programs across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, and HR Operations. The role requires hands-on leadership, governance, and change-management expertise to deliver measurable business outcomes in a regulated financial services

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive project or program management experience leading large, complex initiatives and system implementations.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale, cross-functional programs with significant organizational impact.
• Experience partnering with HR functions and/or HR technologies (Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, Cornerstone, Paradox).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale HR projects and programs, including planning, governance, and post-implementation support.
• Define objectives, scope, and delivery plans with executive sponsors and senior leaders.
• Drive multiple workstreams, manage interdependencies, and proactively address risks and issues.
• Develop integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, and financial forecasts for executive reporting.
• Lead governance forums, meetings, and decision-making with accountable stakeholders.
• Influence HR, business, technology, and external partners to resolve delivery challenges.
