Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal HR Project Manager to lead major HR initiatives at our Corporate Office in Falls Church, VA. This on-site role reports to the Director of Human Resources and will coordinate with senior HR leadership to execute strategic programs.

The ideal candidate will bring a track record of leading complex HR projects, operating in ambiguity, and delivering measurable results. Travel is involved, and competitive benefits accompany base compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience or Master’s Degree with 6+ years in HR, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex HR projects or programs from initiation through implementation and sustainment.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in an environment of ambiguity, making sound decisions and driving results.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to concisely synthesize and present information to executives.
• Experience using HR data, dashboards, and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR colleagues across functional organizations to support enterprise talent strategies.
• Lead transformation and project teams from inception to completion with chartering, planning, and governance.
• Establish and maintain project plans, timelines, and governance routines for key HR initiatives.
• Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption among leaders and teams.
• Analyze and present information, insights, and recommendations to senior executives.
• Provide business insights through data analysis, dashboards, research, and benchmarking to measure program effectiveness.
• Drive agile HR project cadence and sustainment plans.
• Collaborate with HRIS and IT to align HR processes with enabling technologies.
