Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Product Owner Lead in Irvine, CA to lead and grow a team of Agile Product Owners focused on HR products and Workday-enabled platforms.

You will shape product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and drive execution across HR tech domains while aligning with senior stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of transforming agile product management practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams of Product Owners or Product Managers in a large enterprise.
• Deep expertise in HR technology and Workday.
• Strong understanding of Agile product management and operating models.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Agile Product Owners responsible for HR products and platforms.
• Drive product strategy, prioritization, roadmap planning, and execution across the HR technology portfolio.
• Partner closely with HR, Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders to align priorities and outcomes.
• Establish and mature Agile product management practices, governance, and operating rhythms.
• Guide Product Owners in backlog management, value prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and delivery planning.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, product roadmaps, and technology execution.
• Support major initiatives across Workday, Talent, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Employee Experience, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Provide leadership capacity during a period of organizational change and transformation.
