Job summary

ThinkTek LLC is seeking a Senior Technical SME to lead technology strategy for an enterprise HR system implementation. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, bridging government, implementation teams, and stakeholders throughout design, testing, deployment, and commissioning.

The role requires strong SME leadership, experience with HR system architecture, data migration, interfaces, and risk mitigation, and the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable leadership

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, business, HR, or related discipline; equivalent professional experience considered.
5+ years delivering enterprise technology implementations, HR systems, or government IT programs.
Experience as technical SME, tech lead, systems analyst, or advisor on large-scale enterprise implementations.
Strong testing, requirements validation, defect analysis, and system readiness experience.
Translate business/functional requirements into technical requirements, test scenarios, and specs.
Experience with data migration, data validation, interfaces, data protocols, and integrations.
Identify gaps, risks, and enhancement opportunities for system improvements.
Facilitate technical discussions with multiple stakeholders of varying expertise.
Communicate complex technical concepts to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME guiding HR system concepts through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and commissioning.
Provide guidance on HR system architecture, configuration, integration, data, security, and readiness.
Support testing to verify system integrity and HR business rules prior to deployment.
Develop and execute technical test scenarios; analyze and resolve defects.
Identify trends, risks, defects, and remediation areas from testing results.
Act as primary technical liaison between government stakeholders, teams, and vendors.
Lead efforts to identify gaps and prioritize enhancements.
Document gaps and route for approval with appropriate disposition.
Capture and document functional/technical gaps; provide actionable feedback.
Facilitate technical discussions addressing risk, config control, data protocols, and interfaces.
Translate technical findings into clear presentations for government personnel.
Participate in meetings; provide updates on testing status and readiness.
Develop technical documentation: requirements, test plans, interfaces, migration logs.
Coordinate changes with configuration control and change management.
Support data migration progress and risk communication with stakeholders.
Review interface specs and data exchange protocols for clear requirements.
Validate role-based access and system controls.
