What You’ll Be Doing

The Senior HR Systems Analyst leads the planning, delivery, and ongoing optimization of Percepta's HR technology portfolio. Acting as both project manager and technical lead, the role owns HR systems projects end to end, from business case and requirements through configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and adoption. Key priorities include expanding Manager Self-Service (MSS) and Employee Self-Service (ESS), implementing new applications and tools, and improving integrations and efficiency across the HR application landscape. The role serves as the subject matter expert (SME) and primary point of contact for Percepta's recruiting system (Oracle Taleo or other Oracle platform), Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), and other HRMS applications, and leads cross-functional teams across Human Resources, Payroll, IT, Finance, and vendor partners.

What Success Looks Like

  • Timely resolution of system issues and user requests.
  • HR technology projects delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, with documented benefits realized.
  • Increased automation and process efficiency.
  • Positive end-user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Increased MSS and ESS adoption and a reduction in HR-processed transactions.
  • Stable, well-documented integrations with minimal interface errors and data synchronization issues.
  • Positive stakeholder feedback on project leadership, communication, and delivery.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
Project Leadership & Implementation
  • Define project scope, business cases, charters, work plans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans for HR technology initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams across Human Resources, Payroll, IT, Finance, and vendors; set priorities, assign tasks, and hold team members accountable for deliverables.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, escalating and resolving roadblocks to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Run project governance, including status meetings, steering committee updates, and executive status reporting.
  • Lead HR technology implementation and integration projects from initiation through closure, serving as project manager and primary point of accountability.
  • Own the testing strategy and test plans, including unit, system integration (SIT), user acceptance (UAT), and regression testing; coordinate test execution and drive defect resolution.
  • Plan and oversee data migration, conversion, cutover, and go-live activities.
  • Lead the implementation of new HR applications and tools, including requirements, integration design, cutover planning, go-live, and post-go-live (hypercare) support.
  • Lead MSS and ESS rollout projects, including process redesign, configuration, pilots, deployment, and adoption tracking.
  • Maintain the HR technology project portfolio and roadmap, prioritizing requests based on business value, efficiency gains, and team capacity.
  • Manage implementation partner and vendor deliverables, statements of work, and service levels.
HR Systems Management
  • Administer and maintain HR systems, including HCM, ATS, LMS, Performance Management, and Payroll interfaces.

  • Configure system workflows, business processes, security roles, and organizational structures.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with vendors and IT teams.
  • Plan and lead system upgrades, patches, and release management, including impact assessments, testing, and user communications.
  • Own the integration landscape between the recruiting system, EBS, payroll, benefits, and third-party applications, including inbound/outbound interfaces, file transfers, and APIs.

  • Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive MSS and ESS adoption by converting manual, HR-dependent transactions (e.g., job changes, personal data updates, time off) into self-service workflows.
  • Evaluate the HR application landscape to reduce redundant tools, manual workarounds, and duplicate data entry across systems.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute HR reports, dashboards, and metrics.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across HR platforms.
  • Support workforce planning, compliance reporting, and executive reporting needs.
  • Perform data validation and audits.
  • Track and report project status, benefits realization, self-service adoption, integration health, and HR transaction cycle times.
