Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an HR consultant to provide guidance on HR practices and policies for designated client groups and disciplines. The role involves acting as a subject matter expert to maximize HR effectiveness within the organization.

You will administer HR policies across employee groups, lead or participate in HR projects, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a globally diverse setting.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required with 7+ years experience, or 11 years if non-degreed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work habits.

Responsibilities

• Administer applicable Human Resource policies and procedures affecting employees.
• May function as a team leader or group participant on special HR projects.
• Interface with groups inside and outside the organization (other HR departments, SBUs, projects, vendors).
• Communicate and work collaboratively within a globally diverse environment.
• Maintain a close working relationship with discipline management to ensure services are properly executed.
• Establish relationship with direct manager and colleagues as a discipline expert.
• Other duties as assigned.
