Job summary

Cushing Terrell is seeking a Senior Human Resource Manager to partner with senior practice leaders and regional executives in an in-office setting across our MT, Boise, Denver, Seattle, or Austin offices. The role shapes people strategies, leads complex organizational design, succession planning, executive coaching, and high-stakes employee relations and investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years HR experience with 8+ years in HRBP or strategic partnering roles.
• Experience supporting senior executives and leaders
• Deep knowledge of multi-state employment law and regulatory risk
• Experience leading complex investigations and employee relations
• Executive presence to counsel senior leaders
• Willingness to travel up to 15%

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders.
• Translate enterprise strategy into multi-year people strategies.
• Partner on complex organizational design and transitions.
• Lead succession planning and readiness for critical roles.
• Collaborate on hiring, leveling, and onboarding for principal/leader roles.
• Coach senior leaders on effectiveness and team building.
• Lead sensitive employee relations matters and investigations with legal support.
• Advise on performance management, including separations.
• Support M&A people diligence and integration planning.
• Help build and mentor a growing HR function.
