Amtrak is seeking a Senior Director, HR Business Partner to provide strategic leadership for HR Business Partners across an enterprise portfolio. The role partners with leadership to align workforce strategies with priorities, strengthen talent pipelines, and improve organizational performance.

The Senior Director ensures effective HR program implementation while advancing workforce planning, leadership capability, and employee engagement to achieve business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
• Plus 13 years of relevant work experience.
• Plus 15 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic consultation to leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategies and succession planning.
• Leads and develops the HR Business Partner team supporting the enterprise portfolio.
• Collaborates with leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to implement enterprise-wide HR initiatives.
• Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational decisions and leadership practices.
• Utilizes workforce analytics to inform decisions and improve workforce performance.
