Job summary

Alicat Scientific is seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist to steward the full employee lifecycle for our U.S. workforce, based on-site in Tucson, AZ. This hands-on role covers HR operations, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and recruiting coordination.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR generalist roles, with manufacturing experience preferred, and a solid understanding of US federal and Arizona employment law. This on-site position reports to the Chief HR Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR generalist/specialist experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of US federal and Arizona employment law.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for U.S. employees on HR policies and workplace concerns.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions and coordinate onboarding.
• Administer U.S. employee benefits programs and support open enrollment with brokers/vendors.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Arizona employment laws and maintain accurate records.
• Support HR programs, process improvements, and reporting of metrics for leadership.
• Provide HR support for both office staff and manufacturing floor employees.
