Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking an experienced Employment Compliance Leader to guide multi-state programs, partner with HR, Legal and leaders, and ensure adherence to federal, state and local laws.

You will develop policies, manage investigations, provide training, and drive consistent, compliant workforce practices. The role supports audits and regulatory inquiries and may be performed remotely across the continental US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 7 years in HR, Legal or Compliance roles; or 11 years in HR Compliance.
• 3 years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA).
• Experience conducting workplace investigations with confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Advanced analytical, reporting, and project management skills; familiarity with HRIS data and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate with diverse stakeholders, and adapt to changing needs (AI/tools familiarity).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage employment compliance programs across multiple states.
• Develop and maintain employment policies, compliance reporting, and audit processes; monitor regulatory changes.
• Provide guidance and training to leaders and employees on employment law requirements and best practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to drive consistent, compliant workforce practices.
