Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-13) in federal recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal HR laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Experience coordinating recruitment activities with internal and external stakeholders to support mission objectives.
• Experience developing long-range recruitment plans, strategies, performance measures, and resource requirements.
• Ability to provide data and analytics to evaluate HR processes and results against agency plans.

Responsibilities

• Establishing overall program and managerial and administrative objectives, developing long-range recruitment plans, and identifying required resources for the Branch.
• Serving as NRD's advocate, policy expert, and liaison to CBP HRM and TMD on recruitment initiatives.
• Serving as the senior advisor on strategy, policy, plans, and assessments of CBP's recruitment of branch personnel.
• Working with TMD, CBP Hiring Center to develop recruitment plans that support hiring goals.
• Managing a NRD branch, setting priorities and schedules for completion, including standards for quality and production.
