Job summary

Pennant Services seeks an innovative HR professional to support home health, hospice, and home care agencies in the Connecticut region and beyond. The HR Resource will guide HR/Payroll activities, ensure best practices, and drive compliance across multiple states within the Pennant HR Team.

The role emphasizes ownership, leadership development, and training to support growth while aligning with CAPLICO values and risk management. Hybrid work in Farmington, CT is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years HR experience.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• Knowledge of state/federal employment regulations (Wage & Hour, FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Comp).
• Healthcare HR experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador for HR services and resources across Cornerstone agencies.
• Grow and develop HR support programs and services for agencies.
• Collaborate with operations to boost employee engagement and retention.
• Conduct HR compliance audits in Workday and approve requisitions.
• Provide training and development for new HR representatives.
• Support multi-state HR initiatives, policy creation, and risk management.
