Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado Branch seeks a Senior People Business Partner to support strategy and execution within the People & Culture department. You will hire, interview staff, administer pay, benefits, and leave, and enforce policies while guiding program leadership on HR initiatives.

You will manage compliance with employment laws, support succession planning, and analyze turnover and internal equity. Occasional remote work is possible, with standard hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field.
• 3 years of HR experience in an exempt role.
• Non-Profit experience is very helpful.
• HR Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and certifications.
• Facilitates hiring with program managers to determine headcount and skills required.
• Implements employee recognition and retention programs.
