Job summary

Arhaus is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead workforce programs across the Ohio facility. The role emphasizes compliance, training, performance management, and employee relations to support manufacturing operations.

You will develop HR policies, conduct investigations, manage payroll-related activities, and drive workforce analytics to guide strategic decisions. Collaboration with leadership is essential to align people initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in human resources management or related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficient computer skills.
• Experience in human resources or related field and ability to build relationships.
• Conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations experience.
• Excellent organization, time management, confidentiality, and multitasking abilities.
• Team player with detail orientation and strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Project management experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
• Develop and deliver training materials and performance management programs.
• Investigate associate issues, conflicts, and other policy violations with disciplinary outcomes.
• Resolve conflicts through mediation coaching and guidance.
• Train, counsel, and coach staff.
• Drive workforce analytics, insights, and reporting to support the workforce plan.
• Conduct daily walks, interact with employees, and provide feedback to leadership.
• Create and maintain a compensation strategy based on market research and surveys.
• Support business needs through development, engagement, motivation and preservation of staff.
• Ensure HR policies are applied consistently and maintain organization charts.
