Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking an HR Manager to provide comprehensive HR leadership for up to 3 operating entities located in Kansas City, Missouri and McPherson, Kansas. You will partner with business leaders to drive talent, performance, change management, and policy execution across the Freight Global Services Supply Chain.

The role requires an on-site presence in Kansas City and travel to McPherson as needed, with a focus on labor relations, strategic HR planning, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Desired Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial / Labor Relations or Business Administration.
• 5 years of HR experience and/or leadership roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business partner for multiple operating entities and provide HR guidance across talent, performance, policy, and change management.
• Collaborate with management to develop HR plans supporting key needs and manage workforce changes.
• Coordinate with Centers of Excellence on compensation, benefits, HR Operations and employment counsel.
• Oversee labor relations and align with Supply Chain and broader labor relations strategy.
• Coach and guide the HR Generalist and leaders to drive organizational objectives.
