Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks an experienced HR business partner to guide unit leadership on HR policies, benefits, compensation, and employment regulations. You will coordinate Workday transactions and act as the primary liaison with OISS on visa matters.

Responsibilities include auditing HR data, generating unit reports, and partnering with COEs to deliver efficient HR services while supporting succession planning and equity evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field or equivalent years of professional experience.
• Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Labor Relations, or HR Management.
• Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is a plus.
• At least 5 years in Human Resources, Recruitment, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, compensation, and employment laws/regulations.
• Collaborate with unit leadership to implement HR practices and improve organizational success.
• Serve as liaison to OISS for visa and international employment matters.
• Review and approve HR transactions in Workday for policy compliance.
• Audit HR data and reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with HR Centers of Expertise to deliver HR services efficiently.
