Howard University invites applications for the Associate Director, Human Resources - FFP & CoM in Washington, DC. The position partners with physician leaders and executive leadership to align talent strategies with clinical, academic, and operational priorities.

You will guide workforce planning, compensation, and employee relations while ensuring compliance and high-quality HR services. The role reports to the AVP of HR and collaborates with central HR experts to deliver coordinated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• SHRM/HR certification preferred or similar as a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR consultation to FPP and CoM leadership.
• Oversee workforce planning, succession, and retention strategies.
• Lead employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Coordinate compensation programs and workforce analytics with central HR.
• Ensure regulatory and payer requirements are met across FPP and CoM.
• Collaborate across HR functions to deliver integrated HR solutions.
