Job summary

STENA is seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Human Resources Manager to support salaried teams across Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and more at an aerospace manufacturing site in Baltimore. You will report to the Director of HR, advising leaders and guiding HR initiatives within a unionized workforce.

The role requires manufacturing and corporate HR experience, with responsibility for data, reporting, compliance, and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated capability in investigations, employee relations, engagement, and workforce development.
• Experience in manufacturing and corporate environments.
• Proven experience leading and developing HR team members (minimum of 3 direct reports).
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using HR metrics, reporting tools, and data systems to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HR Leadership: serve as primary HR partner for salaried employees, guiding design and workforce planning.
• Performance & Talent Management: lead performance management, talent development, and planning processes.
• Employee Relations & Union Interaction: advise on employee relations, support union compliance, and investigations.
• Communications & Engagement: lead HR communications, engagement initiatives, and culture-building efforts.
• Team Leadership: develop and coach HR professionals.
• Data, Reporting & Analytics: track labor metrics and provide data-driven insights.
