Job summary

Mizuho OSI is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for the employee lifecycle and HR systems. This role partners across HR and business leaders to ensure compliant, scalable operations and data integrity, while driving continuous improvements in service delivery and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin or related field.
• 10+ years HR leadership including HR Operations.
• Proven cross-functional HR initiative leadership and process improvements.
• Experience with HRIS projects and change management.
• Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, CFRA, ADA, HIPAA.
• Experience managing benefits, leaves, workers’ comp, and comp/cycle ops.
• Experience with employment-based immigration matters and visa processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the HR Operations strategy, roadmap and priorities.
• Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle operations including onboarding, changes, offboarding and HR communications.
• Drive modernization, standardization, and automation of HR processes.
• Govern HR systems: HRIS improvements, integrations, access controls and data quality.
• Establish HR Operations metrics, dashboards and SLAs; present analyses to leadership.
• Lead HR Operations team and external service providers; set goals and provide coaching.
• Oversee HR vendors, service delivery, issue resolution and accountability for deliverables.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, IT and Legal on programs.
• Manage benefits administration and annual open enrollment communications.
• Oversee focal (performance/compensation) process execution and calibration.
