Job summary

Levy Restaurants in Pasadena, CA, is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to oversee recruitment and staffing for Rose Bowl Stadium events. You will lead high-volume hiring, manage unionized workforce challenges, and ensure onboarding and compliance processes are completed accurately and on time.

You will partner with food and beverage managers and Regional HR to implement retention strategies, report headcount and demographics, and maintain a positive, compliant work environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in Human Resources with previous union experience.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Experience with high volume recruitment.
• Familiarity with performing audits.
• Previous experience managing a unionized workforce.
• Strong computer & database literacy (Smartsheets, Microsoft 365, Visier, Concur, PeopleHub).
• Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or sports & entertainment.
• Excellent communication skills and maturity.
• Proactive, self-starter, and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays; on-site at Rose Bowl Stadium.

Responsibilities

• Develops & implements recruitment plans for Rose Bowl Stadium in partnership with food and beverage department managers to maintain adequate staffing levels for stadium events.
• Leads staffing for all food and beverage activations. Develops understanding of internal staffing procedures including volunteers, temp employees, & subcontractors.
• Accurately reports on staffing levels pre & post events.
• Ensures all Levy & legal standards, such as I-9's, policy acknowledgments, ServSafe, and onboarding paperwork are completed timely.
• Conducts regular audits to verify compliance with policies & procedures in alignment with Levy's QRE.
• In partnership with Regional HR, develops, implements, & supports a retention strategy for Levy.
• Oversees onboarding & orientation for all new team members.
• Leads efforts around employee engagement at Rose Bowl Stadium.
• Oversees timely completion of all team member timesheets in the MyStaff system.
• Leads our HR check-in team to maintain efficient & welcoming employee check-in experience.
