Job summary

Darmann Abrasive Products in Clinton, MA seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead all HR activities and partner with the CEO and executive team on talent, workforce planning and organizational design. The role focuses on growing people capabilities, aligning HR systems and policies with business strategy, and scaling HR processes for a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience within manufacturing or operational environments.
• Experience supporting hourly and direct labor workforces.
• Knowledge of recruiting, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance and organizational development.
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and senior management.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
• Strong communication, relationship building and problem solving skills.
• Experience managing HR systems, policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Human Resources activities for the organization.
• Partner with CEO and leadership on workforce planning, succession planning and talent strategy.
• Develop and enhance HR systems, policies, processes and infrastructure to support growth.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, leadership development and performance management programs.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, compensation, benefits, workforce planning and talent acquisition.
• Establish meaningful HR metrics and workforce KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
• Support recruiting across manufacturing, engineering, technical, commercial, and leadership functions.
• Oversee compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and employee development.
• Partner with operational leadership to maintain a safe, productive manufacturing environment.
