Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks an HR Manager to own and grow the HR function in Woodland, CA. You will lead a small HR team, partner with a Generalist, and deliver practical, people-centered HR support during a growth phase.

You will oversee employee relations, compliance, benefits and total rewards, and help build scalable processes while keeping the culture approachable and people-first.

Qualifications

• Broad, hands on Human Resources experience across employee relations, compliance, benefits and day-to-day HR realities.
• Ability to coach managers through performance, accountability and difficult conversations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance, including leaves and accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function hands-on alongside an HR Generalist to support managers and employees.
• Handle employee relations, investigations, feedback, PIPs, disciplinary actions and separations.
• Maintain compliant HR policies, documentation and practices, including a remote workforce.
