Job summary

Rose Remodeling seeks an experienced HR Manager to oversee all Human Resources activities, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation, benefits, and culture to support a growing team.

The role partners with leadership to drive people strategies that align with business goals, manages HR systems and reporting, and ensures California employment law compliance while fostering a positive workplace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, and performance management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, DocuSign, HRIS/ATS platforms, and reporting tools.
• Experience in the construction, home improvement, or skilled trades industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support company growth
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and employee development
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Administer compensation, benefits, and HR policies
• Maintain HR systems, reporting, and key performance metrics
• Process employee separations and terminations in compliance with labor laws
• Coordinate OSHA compliance, harassment training, and workplace violence prevention training
• Hold department managers accountable to company policies and procedures
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
• Support organizational planning and continuous process improvement
