Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an HR Leader, US Commercial to lead employee relations across a large commercial and field sales organization, reporting to the Head of HR, Spine, Sports, and CMF. This hybrid role will independently manage complex investigations, advise leaders, and ensure compliant practices while partnering with Legal, Compliance, and HR partners.

Post-separation, employment would align with DePuy Synthes processes, travel up to 20% domestically is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR, Business Admin, Employment Relations, Law, or related field.
• Advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred.
• Experience in a regulated MedTech/pharmaceutical environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary employee relations expert for designated U.S. Orthopaedics commercial and field sales organizations.
• Independently manage complex, sensitive employee relations matters from intake through resolution.
• Plan and conduct investigations; assess evidence, document findings, and recommend actions.
• Interpret and apply U.S. federal, state, and local employment requirements and policies.
• Advise leaders on risk, options, and actions balancing employee experience and business needs.
• Provide employee relations guidance for organizational changes and restructures.
• Identify trends and translate insights to strengthen leadership capability and organizational health.
• Maintain confidential case documentation and governance; support reporting and transparency.
• Develop training, tools, and coaching for leaders on performance management and investigations.
• Build partnerships across a matrixed organization and contribute to HR initiatives.
