Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a HR Leader, US Commercial to oversee employee relations for a large, geographically dispersed commercial and field sales organization. The role reports to the Head HR Global Trauma and partners with Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to deliver timely, compliant, and business-focused solutions.

The position is hybrid, located in multiple U.S. cities, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employment Relations, Law, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations for designated U.S. Orthopaedics commercial and field sales organizations; provide policy interpretation and guidance.
• Independently manage complex, sensitive employee relations matters from intake through resolution, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Plan and conduct objective workplace investigations; document findings and recommend actions with HR, Legal, and leadership.
• Interpret and apply U.S. employment laws to promote fair, compliant practices.
• Advise leaders on risk, options, and actions balancing employee experience and business needs.
• Provide guidance for organizational changes and workforce transformations.
• Identify trends in case data and translate into preventive interventions and improvements.
• Maintain confidential case documentation and governance for case management.
• Develop training and coaching for leaders and HR partners on performance management and investigations.
• Collaborate across a matrixed organization on HR priorities and process improvements.
