Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Manager to support one or more Operational VPs and their teams.

You will implement HR policies, counsel leadership, manage a team of HR Business Partners, and ensure fair, compliant employee relations across properties. You will lead talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, and training initiatives, while ensuring alignment with corporate programs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field plus 4+ HR years; PHR/SPHR preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws.
• Excellent organization, motivation, leadership, management and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with performance management, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and disparity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage HR programs and strategies for assigned Operations teams.
• Supervise HR Business Partner direct reports and align goals with leadership.
• Drive process improvement and ensure quality service across HR functions.
• Ensure deadlines are met and resources are aligned to business needs.
• Plan and execute associate communication and recognition programs.
• Lead employee relations for assigned properties and advise on investigations.
• Coordinate training/development and ensure compliance with EEOC, AAP, OFCCP.
