Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas is seeking a senior HR leader to develop and administer all HR processes, policies and procedures in support of the company’s strategic goals. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and associate relations across locations.

The ideal candidate holds SPHR/PHR (preferred), has seven years of leadership experience in manufacturing HR, and demonstrates strong communication, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to coach

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business Administration or related field.
• SPHR or PHR and/or SHRM-CP preferred.
• Seven years of leadership experience in HR, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to coach and develop Associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, selection, and new hire orientation.
• Advise management to resolve associate issues.
• Counsel Associates on policies and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee bi-weekly payroll using HRIS and ADP.
• Administer benefits and Open Enrollment.
• Coordinate associate relations events to boost morale.
• Work with EHS on safety and workers’ comp.
• Prepare internal/external reports and ISO audit materials.
• Prepare communications to keep Associates informed.
• Train to stay current on employment legislation.
• Supervise HR department staff.
• Travel to other HEXPOL locations may be required.
