Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas in Long Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Human Resources leader to develop, coordinate, and administer HR processes, policies, and procedures aligned with strategic business objectives.

The role oversees recruitment, payroll, benefits, and employee relations, mentoring management and ensuring compliance with employment laws, ISO audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years leadership experience in HR, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bilingual in Spanish required for effective Associates communication.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, selection, and new hire orientation for all Associates.
• Respond to Associate inquiries and advise Management on HR issues.
• Counsel Associates on job-related issues, policies, and disciplinary actions.
• Approve bi-weekly payroll using HRIS and ADP timekeeping systems.
• Administer benefit programs and conduct Open Enrollment meetings.
• Coordinate Associate relations events to promote morale and relations.
