Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead human resources operations from its St. Charles, IL base.

You will partner with executives to shape hiring, talent development, and engagement strategies, while ensuring policy governance and regulatory compliance. You will oversee investigations, performance management, and the annual people cycle, and collaborate with Finance on budgets, compensation, benefits, and HR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally 5 to 7 years.
• Broad experience across employee relations, investigations, performance management, talent, and core HR operations.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including leave administration (FMLA/ADA).
• Experience running an annual people cycle: performance reviews, talent and succession reviews, and compensation planning.
• Hands-on recruiting and onboarding experience.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
• Ability to work on-site in St. Charles, IL.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to translate workforce plans into hiring, capability building, retention, succession, and organizational actions.
• Oversee employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, leave requests; partner with legal counsel on high-risk matters.
• Run the annual people cycle: talent reviews, succession inputs, performance calibration, compensation planning, and development follow-through.
• Partner with executive leadership and Finance on recruiting, compensation, benefits, HR systems, people data, and workforce budgets.
• Maintain sound HR controls, accurate records, policy governance, and employment law compliance across multiple locations.
• Develop and implement strategies to strengthen employee engagement, morale, and productivity.
• Build scalable HR practices to support growth and continuously improve HR processes.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, from job postings and interviews through new hire orientation.
