The role reports to the Director of Human Resources and focuses on pay equity, regulatory compliance, and long-term workforce strategy aligned with Coast Guard objectives. A proactive and strategic HR leader is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: HR knowledge across principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS with ability to manage multiple systems.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain professional HR certification within 12 months.
• Experience in HR management and handling multiple projects.
• Experience researching employment laws and regulations in both private and public contexts.

Responsibilities

• Direct enterprise-wide HR functions including classification, salary and wage administration, staffing, and employee relations for 1,400 employees.
• Oversee benefits, recruitment, staffing, and performance management.
• Ensure pay equity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.
