  • Monitor civilian performance-management activities, including ePerformance registrations and evaluations.
  • Prepare and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, status reports, and data compilations.
  • Coordinate with LOGCOM leadership, supervisors, and stakeholders.
  • Protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and sensitive government personnel records.

Job description

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a full-time Human Resources Administrative / Civilian Resource Support Specialist to support the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) LOGCOM LOG-1 Personnel and Reserve Force Readiness Division. This onsite role in Norfolk, VA 23505 focuses on administrative and analytical HR support for civilian workforce administration, with responsibilities spanning tracking, records management, reporting, and coordination.

Role Overview

The position will provide administrative support for civilian personnel and workforce administration activities for LOGCOM and its subordinate organizations. Work centers on maintaining accurate personnel-related trackers, supporting performance-management monitoring, producing recurring reporting outputs, and using Government-authorized systems and collaboration tools to keep workforce information current.

Responsibilities
  • Support civilian personnel and workforce administration activities for LOGCOM and subordinate organizations.
  • Maintain and update recruitment, hiring, billet, personnel-action, and workforce-status trackers.
  • Assist with tracking hiring actions and Personnel Allowance List (PAL) updates using Government-authorized systems and tools.
  • Monitor civilian performance-management activities, including ePerformance registration, mid-cycle reviews, annual evaluations, and rating-cycle milestones.
  • Prepare and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, status reports, and data compilations.
  • Support administrative use of FedHR, USAStaffing, ePerformance, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Power BI Apps, and other Government-authorized systems.
  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems and civilian workforce records.
  • Maintain and update the CRC SharePoint site, including job aids, templates, reference materials, files, and other resources.
  • Coordinate civilian workforce meetings, briefings, training sessions, conferences, and special events.
  • Prepare meeting invitations, agendas, rosters, briefing materials, read-ahead packages, presentations, and related documentation.
  • Respond to routine administrative HR inquiries using Government-approved information and guidance, and elevate policy, employee-relations, labor-relations, fiscal, or other decision-based matters to Government personnel.
  • Coordinate with LOGCOM leadership, supervisors, Base-level points of contact, training providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare clear professional correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and workforce communications.
  • Protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Sensitive But Unclassified information, and Government personnel records.
  • Support weekly, biweekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting requirements in accordance with established deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Business administration or Human resources support or Program analysis or Related administrative support functions.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Security and Background Requirements
  • Personnel must satisfy applicable Government security and suitability requirements and complete the required security investigative documentation.

  • Must meet suitability screening for working in a federal government environment and pass a background check.
