University of Miami seeks an experienced HR professional to lead the HR support team, counsel leaders, and drive employee relations and organizational effectiveness. The role emphasizes policy guidance, enterprise-wide processes, and compliance with university policies and employment laws, with a focus on improving morale, retention, and performance across departments.

As a core member of the HR organization, you will partner with management, analyze data in the ERP system, and deliver insights

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of operations, organizational development, and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Manage HR support staff to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Counsel employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
• Conduct Work Environment Assessments to identify improvements.
• Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues with evidence review.
• Summarize investigation findings and recommendations.
• Facilitate routine meetings with business units to support objectives.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and employment laws.
• Assist with restructuring, succession planning, and salary offers as needed.
• Maintain open communication with client groups about HR services.
• Enter and maintain HR data in ERP system.
• Generate and analyze reports to propose solutions.
• Coordinate processing and distribution of reports.
• Complete special projects including recognition programs and committees.
• Assess internal controls and train staff on policies.
