Job summary

UN Atlas is seeking a Senior Human Resources Officer, Chief of Section, to plan, organize, manage and supervise the Operational Staffing Design Section within the Department of Operational Support. The role focuses on strategic workforce planning, organizational design, and providing expert HR guidance for UN entities.

You will oversee recruitment activities, analyze staffing data to forecast needs, develop guidance and tools, and support HR policy improvements across clients.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in HR/related field required.
• Minimum of ten years in human resources management or related area.
• Experience in international organizations leading workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise the Operational Staffing Design Section.
• Oversee recruitment activities from skillset identification to interview panels.
• Produce business intelligence and analytical HR reports for senior management.
• Advise on staff categories, workforce planning, and HR policy improvements.
