Job summary

Oracle seeks a Principal HR Data Analyst to translate complex workforce data into actionable, data-driven guidance for HR leadership and business leaders. You will partner across HR to frame questions, build scenario models, and craft predictive insights that inform compensation, hiring, and workforce costs.

You will apply SQL, Python, or R, plus Oracle analytics tools, to deliver scalable analyses and visuals. A strong governance mindset and ethical handling of data are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in data science, statistics, data management, economics, IO psychology, or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of experience in people analytics, data science, or workforce analytics.
• Experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Experience applying AI, machine learning, or generative AI to analytics workflows.
• Experience analyzing compensation, workforce cost, hiring, attrition, or related metrics.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, OTBI, BI Publisher, or Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and business leadership to frame and solve complex workforce questions.
• Develop scenario models, forecasts, and analyses quantifying workforce and financial implications.
• Gather, integrate, and synthesize HR data from multiple sources into scalable models and visualizations.
• Serve as SME on people data, methods, tools, and metrics; advise stakeholders on analytics approaches.
• Apply advanced analytical and technical capabilities to identify trends and automate analyses.
• Explore AI/ML techniques to improve speed, scalability, and insight generation while ensuring governance.
• Communicate findings through executive-ready narratives, presentations, and visuals.
