CFS in East Akron, OH seeks a Senior HR Generalist to partner with leadership across HR functions and drive organizational success. You will oversee employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and HR process improvements in a small company environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive human resources experience required.
• Experience supporting multiple HR functions in a generalist capacity.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
• Distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or small company experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers on employee relations, coaching, and performance management matters.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Administer employee benefits programs and support open enrollment activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and policy administration.
• Assist with compensation planning, performance review processes, and employee development initiatives.
• Support employee engagement, retention, and culture-building efforts.
• Recommend and implement HR process improvements and best practices.
