Job summary

HIROTEC AMERICA seeks a Senior Human Resources Generalist to partner with leaders and employees across HR disciplines in a manufacturing setting. You will work on workforce planning, performance management, recruiting, compensation and policy communication.

Based in Auburn Hills, MI, you will support onboarding, training, HRIS data integrity, and global HR projects while ensuring employment law compliance. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of HR experience are required; HR certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience across disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, ER, recruiting, comp and benefits.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing or automotive industry experience preferred.
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management on employee relations, performance management and planning.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment, interviewing, selection, and compensation recommendations.
• Advise on employment law, investigations, policy interpretations and ER matters.
• Administer and support compensation, benefits, performance reviews and talent programs.
• Develop and communicate HR policies and company-wide communications.
• Support onboarding, orientation, engagement and training initiatives.
• Maintain and optimize HR systems, reporting and data integrity.
• Provide guidance on immigration and international business activities.
• Collaborate across multiple facilities on global HR projects.
• Assist with workforce development and organizational development initiatives.
