You will support leaves, accommodations, and complex compliance matters while partnering with management to ensure fair and consistent HR practices.

The role requires strong communication skills, 5+ years in HR generalist roles, and proficiency with Paycom and ATS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field with 5+ years of HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS (Paycom preferred) and ATS systems like Workable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior HR resource to managers on employee relations, investigations, and performance issues.
• Lead leaves, accommodations, and complex policy interpretations with the HR team.
• Maintain confidential HR records and ensure compliance with California laws.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle changes with accurate documentation.
• Draft and revise HR policies, procedures, and employee communications.
• Provide guidance and training to junior HR staff and coordinate HR projects.
