Job summary

Tekion seeks a Senior People Business Generalist to provide broad HR support across the organization. You will partner with People leadership to drive programs, advise managers on HR policies, and manage employee relations with professionalism and care.

You will coordinate onboarding and offboarding, ensure data privacy, and collaborate with Payroll, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition to resolve issues in a fast-growth environment. An HRIS background is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources with generalist or business partner support functions
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes
• Experience supporting managers and employees in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday or SuccessFactors
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; equivalent experience considered

Responsibilities

• Partner with People leadership to execute HR programs, policies, and processes
• Provide day-to-day guidance to employees and managers on HR procedures, benefits, and practices
• Support employee relations matters of moderate complexity and assist with investigations
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, internal transitions, and offboarding
• Collaborate with Payroll, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations to resolve issues
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure privacy compliance
• Assist with policy interpretation and documentation support for managers
• Contribute to HR communications, trainings, and engagement initiatives
• Prepare workforce reports and data summaries for decision-making
• Identify process gaps and contribute to improvement projects for consistency and scalability
• Provide informal guidance to junior People team members
