Job summary

GMH Communities is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations across multiple locations. You will handle onboarding, employee changes, and policy implementation while ensuring HRIS accuracy and confidentiality.

The role requires hands-on ADP Workforce Now and Time and Attendance experience, strong compliance knowledge, and excellent communication. You'll partner with managers, drive process improvements, and support payroll and benefits administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Generalist capacity.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Time and Attendance systems.
• Strong understanding of HR operations, employee relations, payroll processes, and benefits administration.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting managers with employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience supporting workplace investigations and employee relations matters.
• Familiarity with benefits administration, leave management, and employment compliance.
• Experience with ADP reporting, payroll audits, and HRIS process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR operations across multiple locations and business entities.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, transfers, promotions, and separations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity.
• Provide guidance to managers and team members regarding company policies, procedures, and HR practices.
• Assist with developing, implementing, and improving HR processes and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and company information.
