Job summary

EDP is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to support employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations across multiple states. You will partner with managers and employees, address workplace concerns, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting growth and acquisitions.

In the first 90 days, you will build relationships with General Managers, own employee relations guidance, manage active leave cases, and audit HR records. This role requires travel ~30% within the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HR experience with employee relations, investigations, and leave administration.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws including CA.
• Experience conducting and documenting investigations and resolving outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to coach managers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and HR systems for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for employee relations and policy guidance.
• Conduct investigations and document resolutions.
• Administer leave programs including FMLA and ADA accommodations.
• Audit HR processes, HRIS data, onboarding and compliance.
• Partner with site leadership and managers across locations.
