Job summary

Pennex is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations across York and Wellsville plants. You will oversee recruitment for hourly roles, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance while partnering with HR Work Group and Total Rewards to support business needs.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years HR experience in manufacturing, strong communication, project management, and proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems (ADP Workforce Now, iCIMS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Willingness to travel between York and Wellsville locations; bilingual a plus but not required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations and employee services for multiple plant locations.
• Lead recruitment for hourly roles and manage onboarding/onboarding timelines.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Guide performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain HRIS/ATS data accuracy and generate HR metrics.
• Partner with Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition on programs and processes.
• Provide backup coverage for front desk and communications.
